Kathmandu, Nepal: The newly formed Naya Shakti party has demanded all party government to hold the local level elections.
The Naya Shakti Party, which had protested the elections earlier, has not only demanded all party government but also demanded to create an environment conducive to hold the elections.
The party formed under the leadership of Maoist leader and former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattrai has made the decision from its political committee’s meeting on Wednesday.
The party, which had echoed the voice of the Madhes based parties earlier regarding the elections, has also demanded to address the demands of the agitating political parties by resolving the disputes on provincial demarcation.
However, the party has not made clear about the parties that need to be included in the so-called all party government to hold the elections.
