Kathmandu, Nepal: Nepal Police has on Friday made public a Bulgarian national arrested on the charge of stealing money by using fake bank cards from the bank accounts of various persons.
Dimo Atanasov Stefanov, 38 holding of passport number 382222500 was arrested by the Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police from Thamel of Kathmandu on Thursday.
It is alleged that the Bulgarian had been stealing money by using hidden cameras and chips to track PIN and other details of the card users from different ATM booths at Thamel and Durbarmarg areas of Kathmandu.
With the arrest of Bulgarian national Police have also seized USD 17,250, Euro 600, a magnetic strip reader and writer, a Samsung mobile phone, two hidden cameras, an Acer laptop and three flash drives from his possession.
