Surkhet, Nepal, March 7, 2020: As part of precautionary measures to prevent the possible spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Karnali provincial government has on Friday decided to seal its border points along the Nepal-China border.
The Karnali provincial government has also decided to set up five help desks in Hilsa of Humla district, Kapurkot of Salyan district, Babai and Kuine of Surkhet district and at Surkhet Airport to screen the infected suspects.
Likewise, the province government has also urged one and all the general public to adopt precautionary measures by not hugging or shake their hands with others, not organizing public functions, assemblies, fairs, festivals and gatherings etc.
